ABOUT
ABOUT ME
I'm a seventeen year old art student at St. Iganitus High School, excited to graduate and explore the world. I love writing letters, journalling, running, reading, biking, hiking, camping, skiing, star gazing, watching movies, thrift shopping, yoga and travelling. I'm a proud vegetarian, a devoted tea drinker and strongly believe that we are each responsible for our own hapiness and success.
HOW I STARTED
I grew up creating. My mom never let me buy birthday cards and invitations, I had to make them. Each and every single one. I doodled all through elementary school and spent the evenings sprawled on the floor, painting and day dreaming. I've taken formal art classes since grade seven and though I didn't enjoy every project, they each shaped my style and led to my current love of all things art.
WHAT I DO
My favourite medium to work with is pencil. Intricacy is my most important tool, and all of my drawings are full of tiny designs and complex lines. In addition, I love to sketch in pen and paint on canvas with both watercolour and acryllic. My work is based on fantasy and tends to have a dream-like quality. I am in the process of filling a large sketchbook & adding to my collection of paintings.
